Amari Pavati is a young stop-motion animator and filmmaker whose work has been featured at film festivals and won numerous contests. He was a contributing writer for http://ninjabrick.com, drawing from his expertise in Lego stop-motion animation (brickfilm). He has won several Youtube Lego stop-motion contests including https://youtu.be/_suVxYfZdRc. Amari trained in animation and live-action film production at the Austin School of Film, where he is an active member of the co-working community. He wrote, directed and edited an original live-action film short as well as multiple PSA’s. Amari has been hired to create custom work including a stop-motion trailer ad for La Fenice Theater Troupe https://youtu.be/G9oMIJ-4dd4. He is working on a series if adds for the local company the Soup Peddler. Amari’s love of storytelling has propelled him on an accelerated path as a filmmaker. At only 14 years old, he is working on social media advertisements for a local company called Soup Peddler. He has expertise in Adobe After Effects and is experienced with Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro. His preferred stop-motion mediums are Legos and clay . He can animate skillfully with diverse objects and is exploring digital animation. Amari takes innovative ideas from inception through production, working from storyboarding to lighting, practical effects, filming, VFX, editing, and foley. Amari won the animation category at the Austin Youth Film Festival 2018.
